Action Henk Buttsliding his way to Consoles in 2015!

RageSquid’s Action Henk is finally making its way to console platforms… And  it’s about to get serious…. Seriously awesome, that is! Racing games have a variety of cosmetics and engines, but very few are as enjoyable as Action Henk when it comes to quirky, casual fun. While Action Henk might not have considerable depth, developer RageSquid provided plenty of options for their unique yet simple racing game. And Curve Digital is bringing that action to the consoles.

They say variety is the spice of life, and there are plenty here! There are over 70 levels filled with various jumps, slides, and tricky shortcuts to keep the races fresh and engaging. Having tons of tracks is great, but one of my favorite features is the challenge mode for supreme bragging rights amongst your friends. At any time, you can race against your friend’s ghosts and beat their times which will send a notification their way. Talk about rubbing it in!

The video shows plenty of buttsliding, which seems to be the best way for a 1990s action figure to get around apparently! It looks fast, colorful, action-packed, and really damn fun with its various boosters and excellent visuals! I don’t always buy into the trailer/demo videos, but this one looks pretty fun! What do you think? Let us know in the comments below! Did you enjoy it on Steam and is it worth us console-owners making the purchase?

Action Henk will be available for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the 3rd quarter of 2015 (date TBD). You can get it on Steam right now though! Visit the official Action Henk website Right Here!!
