Ever wanted to try one of Fallout 3‘s iconic Nuka Colas, but didn’t want to make it yourself? Now you don’t have to! According to an official statement from Fallout 4‘s official Twitter account, the retail mega-chain Target will begin selling Nuka Cola Quantum on Nov. 10, 2015, just in time for Fallout 4‘s long awaited release.
Hold on, there is a catch. Bethesda Softworks has partnered with soft drink creator Jones Soda to bring Nuka Cola Quantum to Target’s shelves, which promises to be quite intriguing based upon Jones’s wide array of flavors. The iconic Fallout 3 drink will come in the official blue color similar to that in the game, but the drink itself appears to be a repackaged version of Jones’s berry lemonade flavor.
This move is similar to Bethesda’s partnership with the U.K. based brewery Carlsberg for their line of Fallout 4 beer. As promotion for the latest game in the successful franchise, Carlsberg will be designing the new label and marketing their light pilsner lager as such. The beer has been described as the popular light pilsner “with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and a floral aroma.” Unfortunately for fans of the franchise in the United States, Fallout Beer is only being sold on Amazon.com and will not be shipping to North America.
Will you be waiting in line at your local Target for your chance to grab the limited Nuka Cola Quantum, or are you one of the lucky ones to be able to snag some Fallout Beer? Let us know. Need more Fallout 4 news? Stay tuned to Nerd Bacon for the latest updates!
