The originator of the Survival Horror genre is back!
Resident Evil 7 has been confirmed at Sony’s E3 2016 press event on Monday evening.
Not much is known about the plot surrounding Resident Evil 7 at this point.
The only thing we do know is that the game has a definite P.T. vibe to it, and that it’s returning to the core values of what made the original Resident Evil games so special.
There are three other BIG things that we know about Resident Evil 7.
The first, is that we don’t have to wait too long until it’s released. Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 7 will haunt our PlayStation 4’s on January 24th, 2016.
The second, is that Resident Evil 7’s new proprietary “RE Engine” is not only going to make the game look incredible, but will also take the Resident Evil experience to a new frontier: Virtual Reality!
Yes, you read that correctly – Resident Evil 7 will be fully compatible and fully playable on PlayStation VR!
The third thing that we know, and this might be the best thing, is that you can try out a demo of Resident Evil 7 right now!
