The first character for the next season of DLC for Street Fighter V has just been announced.
Not even a mother would love that face.
The master of the raging demon and Ryu’s ultimate foe, Akuma will be arriving in Street Fighter V next year.
Akuma’s presence was announced late Sunday evening at the Capcom Cup Street Fighter V finals: part of the Red Bull Battlegrounds which took place over the weekend.
Capcom announced that Akuma will be playable for attendees of the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016 event, which will take place December 3rd and 4th in Anaheim CA.
Fighting game devotees will also note that Akuma will be a guest character in the upcoming release of Tekken 7, due out early 2017.
