After several years of tantalizing rumors, hopes, and dreams, Bethesda finally gave fans a tease of the next epic experiences that will be arriving in the next few years during their E3 2018 press event Sunday evening.
First was a tease for Starfield. Set in the cold depths of space, Starfield is the next evolution of Bethesda’s role playing expertise. Reports from underground sources have suggested that Starfield will feature all of the glorious depth that we have come to expect from Bethesda’s signature role playing experiences, but this time players will be exploring vast distant planets, flying star ships, and a host of other activities.
As if that bombshell wasn’t enough, Bethesda head Todd Howard closed out the E3 event by giving fans the news they’ve been dying to hear: Elder Scrolls VI is in development!
No official details were given on either game other than brief title screen teases, and realistically, it will be at least a year to two years before either will come out. However, both announcements were a fantastic surprise that closed out an exceptionally strong showing for the company.
