Square Enix’s information blowout for Kindom Hearts III has been relentless during E3 2018, which is to be expected considering the shroud of silence that has enveloped the game since it’s 2013 reveal.
Not only did we get a reveal for a new world centered in the world of Disney’s uber-popular animated hit, Frozen, we also got treated to yet another trailer during Sony’s E3 2018 press event featuring Pirates of the Caribbean!
The graphics during this latest peek into Kingdom Hearts III were truly stunning, with the cast of the Pirates franchise rendered in stunningly lifelike detail. It was almost as if Johnny Depp was reaching out into your living room to take you on a journey, but without the sense of having to have 9 and 1 already pre-dialed into your phone just in case things go wrong.
Aside from the excellent visuals, we also got a brief glimpse into ship-to-ship combat, which will feature into the Pirates-themed section of Kingdom Hearts III.
Square Enix also plans to launch a special deluxe edition of Kingdom Hearts III that includes ALL of the previous HD remasters of the previous Kingdom Hearts titles, AND Kingdom Hearts III all in one package!
Kingdom Heart III will finally reach store shelves on January 29th, 2019.
