Call Of Duty: WWII Reveal Trailer and New Details.

Activision has released the brand new reveal trailer for this year’s Call of Duty game.  The latest entry known as Call of Duty: WWII is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, who previously developed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in 2014.

Call of Duty: WWII takes place during World War 2 and will see players taking control of soldiers during historic battles such as invading Normandy beach and the Battle of the Bulge.  The game is also set to take place during a huge chunk of the European Theater.   The European Theater was an area during World War 2 where hundreds of battles took place across Europe.

While a majority of the campaign will feature players controlling a male soldier, Sledgehammer also revealed that a portion of the game would allow players to play as a female soldier battling as a part of the French resistance.

jd ww2Hollywood and Call of Duty are no strangers as some famous Hollywood names have appeared previously in the franchise. Actor Kevin Spacey played the main antagonist, Jonathan Irons in Sledgehammer’s 2014 Advanced Warfare.  Their relationship with Hollywood stars continues with Call of Duty: WWII, as actor Josh Duhamel will be appearing in the game, portraying Technical Sergeant William Pierson.

For those wanting more information on Call of Duty: WWII’s multiplayer modes you’ll have to wait a bit longer.  Activision said that a full multiplayer reveal would be coming to this year’s E3 event which will be held between June 13th – June 15th 2017. Pre-orders for the game are now live, and those who choose to pre-order will get access to the multiplayer beta.  No dates for the beta were provided.

Call of Duty: WWII launches on November 3rd, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
