DayZ to have single-player, Steam workshop support, and server hosting – E3 2015

During the PC Gaming Show at E3 2015, Brian Hicks, project lead on DayZ, stated that DayZ is planned to have a single-player mode, full Steam Workshop support, and the tools to allow players to host their own servers. Hicks also stated the development team is currently working on three more vehicles for the game as well as the tools required to fix them. None of the upcoming features have been given release dates at this time.

DayZ is Bohemia Interactive’s standalone recreation of the successful ArmA 2 mod of the same name. DayZ has been in early access since December 16th, 2013 and is planned for a 2016 full release.
