Sony and Bungie are giving PlayStation 4 PlayStation Plus subscribers a chance to sign up for the pre alpha beta of their highly anticipated game Destiny.
The E3 2013 announcement of this action RPG / shooter hybrid, set in a post-apocalyptic future debuted to overall good reviews and excitement in the game industry news network. Since then, the hype around Destiny, from the same folks who brought you Halo has risen and the latest developments are encouraging. It seems the game is still on track to make its release date.
The beta will run from June 12th to June15th and according to the Destiny page on Sony’s Playstation website, “will give players a “small sampling of activities you will find in the final experience.” Registration for the pre alpha beta will be closing on June 11th, and you can sign up for your chance to gain access to the Destiny beta right here.
Destiny will be available to play on 09/09/2014 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, there’s still no release date for Destiny on PC and the developers don’t seem to consider it a priority.
