Step 5:  Connecting the Cable

Below is a pin map of the back of the TG-16.  This is as if viewed from the back, looking straight at the pins.

R stand for “right audio” or the color of signal wire that corresponds with the red plug.  L stands for “left audio” or the signal cord corresponding to white.  V is for “video” and corresponds to yellow.  G is for ground, and since our grounds are all connected to one pin, this final plug can go on any pin marked with G.

Since the cord is somewhat delicate, be careful with it and always use the heat shrinks to pull the cords in and out.  If the pins aren’t snug, squeeze them shut a little with pliers and try again.  Assuming everything has been done right, the familiar end can be hooked up to a TV and the TG-16 will now function without a horrible RF cable!
