A healthy chunk of Sony’s E3 press conference was dedicated to promoting PlayStation exclusive titles. While big titles such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End were debuted, a lot of Sony’s PlayStation exclusive titles were smaller indie games that will be available through PSN. One of the few games that stood out was Entwined.
Entwined is a PlayStation 4 exclusive indie game that tells the story of two souls who are in love but can’t be together. The two souls take the form of a fish and a bird that when reunited will turn into a dragon. Each soul is controlled by separate analog sticks, and you must guide them through the levels safely.
Entwined is told through nine levels that are representative of lifetimes. Lifetimes vary in speed and difficulty, the end goal being to bring them together to form the dragon.
Entwined was developed cooperatively by recent college graduates from Carnegie Mellon University and Sony.
Entwined is available for PlayStation 4 on PSN for $9.99. Entwined will eventually be brought to PlayStation 3 and Vita and will be a “Cross-buy” title, meaning that if you buy Entwined on the PlayStation 4 you will also have it for the PlayStation 3 and Vita.
