Home Away From Home – Nintendo Announces Ever Oasis For Nintendo 3DS – E3 2016

Nintendo has announced a brand-new IP for the Nintendo 3DS called, Ever Oasis, during Nintendo’s Treehouse E3 2016 stream.

Ever Oasis is an action/RPG hybris that contains elements of town building and is developed by Grezzo, the folks who handled the excellent Nintendo 3DS ports of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

Set in a land that hearkens back to ancient Egypt, players will be able to explore mysterious dungeons, gather a number of items, and build little outposts called the oasis, which will act as a base to help you recharge your batteries during your travels.

You’ll be able to recruit different characters, known as wanderer’s, to your oasis, which will help strengthen your oasis, as well as provide you with a pool of potential party members that can aide you in exploration.

The action in Ever Oasis will require you to switch between characters in order to take advantage of their unique abilities while traversing the dangerous dungeons located throughout the game’s world.

Ever Oasis comes with an impressive pedigree behind its design.

The game is being led by Koichi Ishii, the man who created such glorious things as the Secret of Mana series, the Job System of Final Fantasy V, and the iconic Chocobo and Moogle from the Final Fantasy series.

No release date has been given yet for Ever Oasis.
