Here’s The First Star Wars Battlefront II Multiplayer Footage! – E3 2017

Yeah we know, the most recent Star Wars Battlefront outing left a lot to be desired. That doesn’t mean we should write the series off though.

EA repeatedly acknowledged the discontent that fans had with the 2015 reboot during the EA Play event Saturday – even going so far as to show a social media posting from actor John Boyega questioning issues with the game. With that acknowledgement came commitment: a solemn pledge to make the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II into the ultimate Star Wars experience.

EA has promised a number of improvements to the overall experience, however, the most surprising change is the fact that EA will offer a large amount of DLC, including: maps, new heroes, and new weapons – for free!

As an act of good faith (and marketing) EA showed off a large chunk of Star Wars Battlefront II multiplayer gameplay ahead of E3 2017, and it looked pretty stunning.

Check out the footage from our live stream below, and then prepare yourself for Star Wars Battlefront II’s release on November 17th, 2017.
