Hit Mobile RPG – Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Coming To The U.S.

To say that the mobile extension of the legendary Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has been a success overseas wold be a gross understatement. At last report, the game has earned 6 million users in Japan alone, which by comparison, would place it in the top tier of Google Play Store downloads if it were available today in the U.S.

Luckily, we don’t have to wait much longer to experience the game for ourselves. Square Enix announced Monday that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will be available on iOS and Android compatible devices in the U.S. this summer.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is billed as a full-fledged Final Fantasy experience, which will be free to play on mobile devices, however adventure-seekers in need, will be able to male in-app purchases in order to help themselves along in their epic quest.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius hits nearly every bullet point for which a gamer looking for a more classical Final Fantasy experience would be looking.

Classic 2D sprite artwork? Check.

Turned base battles? You know it?

A story about the forces of good battling back against the forces of darkness? Of course!

And don’t forget about crystals!

Long time fans of the series will be in for a further nostalgic treat, thanks to cameo appearances by a few of the most beloved Final Fantasy characters, such as; Cecil from FFIV, Vivi from FFIX, and Terra from FFVI.

Square Enix have not announced an official date yet for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, other than their confirmation that it will be out this summer.
