Lost Relic says the Guilty Gear Scene is still growing in the U.S. – EVO 2018

Guilty Gear has been a nearly impenetrable wall for American players in the tournament scene. While players from the U.S. have cracked the top ten before, the dream of an American champion has remained a dream for some time.

EVO 2018 gave us the closest taste we’ve had yet to an American Guilty Gear champion, thanks to the amazing run of Lost Relic, who became the first U.S. player to reach the top three of Arc System Works’ technical opus on the grand stage of EVO.

Lost Relic took a moment to talk about what his historic finish means for Guilty Gear in the States, and whether or not he sees the scene continuing its growth.
