Early Friday, August 29th, 2015, EA Spain “accidentally” leaked a trailer for a new Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC titled Trespasser. The trailer was quickly pulled but not before other channels could re-upload it. This is the internet after all.
This latest DLC takes place two years after the end of the main story line. The nobility of Thedas is trying to turn against the Inquisition and the Inquisitor’s fated hand is starting to kill him/her. This seemingly epic finale for Dragon Age: Inquisition will draw from the cliff-hanger ending of the main story-line as you try to determine how the Inquisition will be remembered. To top it all off, a certain elven character will finally show his face and give us some answers.
So to sum up the trailer in a few words: Qunari, politics, and elven magic. It should make for a very interesting conclusion to Dragon Age: Inquisition. According to the leaked trailer, the Dragon Age: Inquisition Trespasser DLC will be released on September 8, 2015.
The DLC has yet to be officially announced by Bioware so more information is sure to come sometime soon.
Occasionally companies claim these things to be “accidents” to generate a buzz and place some exclusivity and intrigue surrounding the leaked information. Not sure where EA Spain sits on this matter, but we have our own speculations here at the Nerd Bacon office. What do you think?
UPDATE – Bioware “officially” announced Trespasser. The English trailer is linked below.
Along with the trailer being officially released, Bioware announced that Trespasser will be the last of the large Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC. Bioware also announced that in addition to the new DLC a new patch will be rolled out that will add a wardrobe in Skyhold and a golden Nug that will allow you to share schematics across game saves.
