No Tricks Here – theWatchman and Lovely Lauren Battle In Tricky Towers

The latest free PS Plus offerings arrived Tuesday on the PlayStation 4 and one of the games provided is a little gem of a puzzle game called Tricky Towers.

The concept behind the game is simple – What happens when you introduce physics into a tetromino-based puzzle game?

The answer is sort of an inverse version of Tetris, mixed with the mayhem of Jenga. A game where the object is to build up instead of keeping space clear, all while trying to keep everything structurally sound in order to prevent the whole creation from toppling over.

I got to try Tricky Towers at Evo 2016 as part of the indie developer showcase and thought that it’s mechanics exhibited a charming twist to the standard puzzle genre.

Now that Tricky Towers is available to the general public as a free download via the PlayStation Plus subscription service, I thought it would be fun to put the game through its paces for you, our dear readers.

So here is yours truly, along with Lovely Lauren, as we go head-to-head in several Tricky Towers battles.

Who is the trickiest one of all? You’ll just have to watch to find out!
