Red Dead Redemption 2 Rides Off Into 2018

Rockstar Games announced that their follow up to the 2010 western masterpiece, Red Dead Redemption 2, will not be out until spring of 2018.

A post on the official Rockstar Games website noted that Red Dead Redemption 2 was the first game the team has created “from the ground up” for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, while also assuring fans of the company’s commitment to a quality experience.

While news of the delay of one of 2017’s most anticipated titles is definitely a bitter pill for fans of the original to swallow, Rockstar did try to ease everyone’s pain by releasing a batch of new screenshots, which we have posted below.

Rockstar Games had originally revealed Red Dead Redemption 2 back in October of last year with a short trailer, and a Fall 2017 release window.

There’s a chance that there will be more Red Dead Redemption 2 info at E3 2017 in just a few weeks. NerdBacon.com will be bringing you an insane amount of E3 coverage, which you can read about here.

Are you crying manly cowboy tears over the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2? (It’s okay if you are – I am.)
