Shaq is back!
A resurrection of one of the most infamous fighting games of all time has been announced tonight at the 2015 Video Game Awards.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is a full remake of the classically bad 1994 original.
The project got its start on crowd funding site, Indigogo, raising over $450,000 in 2 months.
Former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neil was on-hand at the event to introduce a new Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn trailer. The re-imagining appears to depart from the original’s one-on-one fighting formula, in favor of a classic side-scrolling beat-em-up style.
