Sonic the Hedgehog is ready to return in all of his classic 2D glory this summer!
On Tuesday, Sega announced that Sonic Mania will be digitally released on August 15th, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Sonic Mania is a return to the series’ roots, featuring the same beautiful art-style found in the Sega Genesis originals. Players will get to blast through re-imagined classic, and all-new zones as they in this brand new Sonic adventure.
Christian Whitehead, a developer of a number of Sonic the Hedgehog fan projects, will be lending his talents to Sonic Mania.
