The Steam Summer Sale has kicked off today, offering some of the deepest discounts of the year on a variety of titles during the twelve day event.
Steam’s signature flash sales will be back as well, offering savings on a rotating roster of titles which get changed every eight hours. Visitors to Steam’s website get the chance to vote on the next games that will be part of the flash sale, and every three votes that you make will earn you a digital trading card card that you can sell to other Steam users for real money. You can also earn a trading card for every $10 you spend.
Games that take part in the sale range from triple A titles, to smaller independent projects that might sometimes fall under the radar. Prices can sometimes be as low as $0.99.
Steam’s Summer Sale runs today through June 30th, and you can start shopping for yourself, or someone you love (i.e. me) right here.
Steam is prepared to take all of your money.
