Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be launching on November 21st in North America, according to a press release from the company today.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will also launch alongside Nintendo’s new Amiibo line of collectible figurines. The first figures hitting retail will be Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. Additional figures of Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon will launch in December.
Nintendo also took time to tout the sales figures for the recently released Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, which the company says has reached 2.8 million sales worldwide.
In addition to the Super Smash Bros news, Nintendo also let it slip that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be hitting North America on December 5 for $39.99
