It may not have an official name, or an official release date, nor does the public have an inkling of the concept behind the machine; yet that hasn’t stopped Nintendo for offering up their upcoming console, code-named NX, as an incentive in a contest.
Nintendo is teaming up with clothing purveyors, Uniqlo, to sponsor a Nintendo themed t-shirt design contest, with part of the grand prize being a free Nintendo NX signed by none other than Shigeru Miyamoto himself.
Budding clothing designers are asked to make their Nintendo-inspired submissions between July 1st and August 31st. The top design will be whisked to a special ceremony, where they will get a chance to meet the legendary designer, receive their shinny autographed NX, and get a big, fat $10,000 check.
2nd place will also get a meeting with Miyamoto, an autographed Nintendo NX, and a slimmer, but still nice $3000 award.
The contest is open to anyone across the world, regardless of age, gender or nationality, so get cracking on those designs!
