Team Ico Finally Releases New The Last Guardian Gameplay – E3 2015

Oh…The Last Guardian we meet again. It has been a long time since we have heard anything regarding The Last Guardian, yet there has been much speculation that this year we would finally be treated with some new information regarding the title. Looks like they were right.

It’s very common knowledge that The Last Guardian has been in development hell for many years, initially beginning in 2007. The title was originally announced two years later at E3 2009 and the response was overwhelming. People loved it, critics loved it, gamers loved it. You can check out that original E3 2009 trailer below.

Well it looks like Team Ico finally showed up. How does Sony open up their E3 2015 press conference? With The Last Guardian game play of course! Are you as shocked as I am? Probably more.

Well game play for The Last Guardian is finally here. The clip below is just a small taste of what The Last Guardian has to offer, but it is great to finally be able to see our favorite giant winged Chihuahua and the little boy who doesn’t speak a word of English. Is this real life? Did the last six or seven years even happen?

If Sony doesn’t take another six years before giving us The Last Guardian is a consumer playable version, gamers will riot. Sony states that The Last Guardian will be made available to purchase next year. Yeah, I say it will be 2022.

Could this give Sony the E3 2015 win? I don’t think so, but it is amazing to finally see some new game play from such a teased title. Stick around Nerd Bacon for the latest in E3 2015 news. For more exciting E3 articles (like this one) click here.
