ToeJam and Earl Back in the Groove Revives the Series’ Legacy

The funkiest aliens in the universe, ToeJam and Earl, are making their way back into your homes later in 2018 in ToeJam and Earl Back in the Groove! This cooperative rogue like adventure game is being revived by Humanature Studios which includes one of the series original creators, Greg Johnson who is the team’s CEO.

The team over at Humanature Studios wanted to bring the feel and energy of the original games into the modern age of gaming. Toe Jam and Earl Back in the Groove takes inspiration from games like Enter the Gungeon and The Binding of Isaac but in a much more laid-back way. This time around the universe you will be able to be joined by not just one intergalactic teammate like the days of old, but up to three simultaneous teammates that can drop in or out at any time.

ToeJam and Earl Back in the Groove looks and feels just like the original games which should please old and new fans alike. NerdBacon was honored to not only get an interview, but to be able to get footage of the next installment in the series. ToeJam and Earl Back in the Groove is slated for release later this year on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. As always, stay tuned to NerdBacon.com for more on ToeJam and Earl Back in the Groove as well as all things video games.
