Puppygames’ twin stick shooter, Ultratron has been announced for a 2015 release on Xbox One, Wii U, and all current PlayStation platforms and Titan Attacks, a throwback to Space Invaders that was also developed by Puppygames, has been announced for 3DS, according to publisher Curve Digital.
Loosely based on Robotron, Ultratron is a twin stick shooter that was originally released on Steam last year. It has received praise from outlets such as Rock Paper Shotgun and Indie Game Reviewer. Publisher Curve Digital describes the game as a retro arcade game that has been updated and modernized for the 21st century.
Players take the role of a battle robot implanted with a human brain on a mission to avenge the extinction of the human race by destroying the boss bot of the apocalypse, Ieiunitas, Bellum, Lues and Letum. There are over 40 levels and co-operative play with an adaptive difficulty that adjusts to player ability.
Ultratron is currently available on PC
Titan Attacks puts players against an alien invasion using only one tank. It is based on Space Invaders, but features an upgradable tank with new weapons and enemies.
Titan Attacks was originally released on PC in 2012 and was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita earlier this year.
We hope to prepare a review of the Ultratron as soon as possible.
