During the E3 2015 PC Gaming Show, Bohemia Interactive showcased ARMA 3’s newest terrain, a South Pacific jungle named Tanoa. Bohemia described Tanoa as “a South Pacific archipelago with a land mass of over 100km2, and home to lush tropical vegetation, unique landmarks, a rich history, and imposing man-made feats of modern engineering.” The new terrain will be available to you in the first half of 2016 as part of the newest expansion which will also include new vehicles, gear, weapons, attachments, and more.
Outside of player-created mods, this is the first time that the ARMA series will take place in the South Pacific. The new terrain looks very stunning and I can’t wait to see how this gets integrated into the campaign, player-made missions, and modified game modes like Altis Life (which will probably be renamed to the fitting Tanoa Life.)
Check out the beautiful trailer for Tanoa!
