RPG fans that have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Xenoblade Chronicles X for Nintendo’s Wii U now have even more about which to be excited.
Nintendo has announced that a Xenoblade Chronicles X Collectors Edition will be hitting U.S. shores, via a post on the company’s Twitter page over the weekend.
The Xenoblade Chronicles X Collectors Edition will have a number of additions for those wishing to celebrate the game in style.
Extra’s set to be included are:
- A 100 page artbook, containing never before illustrations.
- A USB drive replica of Xenoblade Chronicles X’s Lifehold Unit. This USB drive will come equipped with a selection of music from the game’s score.
- A 5 x 7 art card from illustrator Takashi Kojo.
For those unfamiliar, Xenoblade Chronicles X is the follow up to a limited release Wii classic from 2012 entitled Xenoblade Chronicles. Both titles were developed by Monolith Soft, which is made up of a number of veterans of past “Xeno” games, such as Xenogears, and the Xenoblade saga. Gameplay in the Xenoblade Chronicles series is a unique blend of classic JRPG strylings, coupled by a more modern, streamlined battle system that uses elements of MMORPG’s.
The Xenoblade Chronicles X Collectors Edition will retail for $89.99 and will be available exclusively on the Wii U on December 4, 2015.
